Internal Government Website

Technologies Used: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Microsoft Office, C#/VB, Section 508, WCAG, Adobe Creative Suite
Description: Gathered requirements alongside the team lead and created wireframes and low-fidelity mockups for client approval. Created high-fidelity mockups to present to a cross-functional team to start iteration work. Coded front-end UI components and made sure they were accessible. Created Iteration documents for sprints, Storyboards for team and client use, and technical documentation for Coding and Design standards. Assisted in QA testing across multiple environments and documenting any findings. Maintained repository of Release notes, Release forms, artifacts for different Change Requests, and documentation for team use. Site is an internal Government site, branding and most site language is blurred to keep it private.

Todd Caliguire

Description: Full site redesign and content migration. Built on WordPress using a responsive design to make the site useable. Worked with Mr. Caliguire to incorporate Facebook feed onto site to keep constituents up to date on goings ons in the campaign. Site has since been taken down due to the completion of the campaign, however, an archived version is available at the link above.

Description: Full site redesign and content migration. Built on WordPress using a responsive design to make the site useable. Boarding form created so online submission is now possible. Theme customized with HTML/CSS to fit the client’s needs. Worked with a Graphic Designer who created the images, logos, and graphical elements of the site.

Description: Developed updated site designs for FEDSIM/AAS sites. Created and maintained branding across the sites as well as the documentation for the brand standards. Updated Leadership page following personnel changes and maintained the current events and position openings listings. Utilized Google Analytics to track user flow and create the best experience to mitigate bounce rates. Integrated with Tableau to showcase up-to-date numbers on projects within FEDSIM. Created and maintained mobile sites.

Description: Updating styling and branding across the site to be consistent with the homepage. Debug issues with links, buttons, and other features on the site. Test and implement WCAG and Section 508 standards.

Description: Worked as part of a team to redesign the Army.mil main and
subpages. Created widgets from scratch and built Facebook applications for different sites. Maintained news pages and information across the platform. Used HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, 508 compliance, and GitHub for open-source code ideas. (Homepage has since gone through another redesign)

MWRBrand Central

Description: Redesign of the MWRBrandCentral site. Created using Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design. The form for Creative Services was made using PHPMail, HTML, CSS, and Dreamweaver. Maintained and updated Branding sites (QuickService Restaurants)

Gran Grimoire

Description: Worked as a part of the Gran Grimoire team. Created the site on ComicCMS using the comic artists’ graphics and design ideas. Site has since shut down.

DSS

Description: Worked as part of a team to develop and maintain the DSS internal website (new updates, graphics, banners, content) as well as create new template designs. Designed and maintained internal SharePoint site to match internal site and migrated static HTML into dynamic SharePoint pages.

Xtria, LLC


Date: May 2007 – October 2009

Description: Maintained company website and updated with new information. Worked alongside a Senior Web Developer to ensure site was accessible and 508-compliant. Company closed down in 2010, so the site is no longer live. Converted PDF files into Section-508 compliant HTML pages.

Towson University

Date: May 2007 – October 2009
Role: Web Production Assistant

Description: Maintained the Towson University main site as well as the Department of Art and College of Fine Arts websites. Moderated feedback forms daily, and created site skeletons for different departments and organizations within the University utilizing structures from the Information Architect. Assisted faculty and staff with populating and updating personal and department sites. Created images for use in Print materials, web graphics, and other multimedia mediums.
